Monday Night Classes are Growing & Changing

Our Monday night classes at The Dance Conservatory have been a great place to learn, practice, and build connections with other dancers, and we're going to be evolving the format starting next month.

For August, we're continuing with our current Monday night classes and focusing on Connection & Conversation:how we use our movement, musicality, and partnership to communicate with each other and with the music.

Starting in September, we'll be moving toward a new class structure designed to make them more flexible and accessible for dancers at different stages of their journey.

I'll be sharing more details soon, but for now, come dance with us on Mondays at 7:30pm!

Looking for more personalized instruction on your own schedule? I also offer private lessons for dancers who want to work, either one-on-one or with a partner, on technique, musicality, specific skills, or whatever you're currently working on. Reach out to schedule a lesson

Extra Credit: Lindy Edition

The new Fall session of Extra Credit: Lindy Edition is coming up soon at TDC. This is an 8-week series for grades 9-12

Sundays at 4pm from September 27 through November 15

This is an opportunity for teens to discover Lindy Hop, build confidence, connect with other students, and experience the joy of social dancing in a welcoming environment.

Students will learn classic moves through a routine they will perform for a friends-and-family showcase at the end of the session.

If you know a teen who might enjoy it, keep this on your radar! Details & Registration are on our website

Save the Date: September 16

We're excited to be partnering with the Fox Senior Center in Mount Kisco for a special swing dance night featuring live music by Ahlfabet Swing!

Wednesday, September 16 • Fox Senior Center, Mount Kisco

Members of the Swingout Rhythm community are warmly invited to join us for this special evening of dancing and live music.

Building This Together

One of the things I love most about swing dancing is the way it connects us.

The music, the dancing, the classes, the bands, the people we meet along the way... all of it exists because people choose to show up and participate.

I'm really grateful to everyone who has been coming to dances, taking classes, bringing friends, sharing events, supporting our musicians, and helping make this community what it is.

There are some exciting things on the horizon, and I hope you'll be part of them.

For now, start with Redline Swing on August 26. Grab your early bird ticket, bring a friend, and come dance with us!

With gratitude,
Kelly
