Event Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Ticket Sales & Pricing
Tickets are sold on a tiered pricing basis as described in the event listing:
$20 – First 20 tickets
$25 – Next 20 tickets
$30 – Until the door
$35 – At the door (cash or Venmo preferred, online purchase also available)
All ticket sales are final. Please review the refund, transfer, and cancellation policies below before purchasing.
2. Refund, Transfer & Cancellation Policy
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for illness, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, weather-related conditions, or failure to attend.
Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please email info@srdc.online with the first and last name, phone number, and email address of the new attendee at least 24 hours before the event so we can update the guest list.
In the unlikely case that the event is canceled by the organizer, ticket holders will receive a refund minus a non-refundable processing fee. This processing fee reflects transaction costs that are not recoverable by the organizer.
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within a reasonable timeframe following the cancellation.
3. Entry & Attendance
This event takes place on Wednesday, October 1st at St. Rita’s Music Room in Beacon, NY and includes a beginner-friendly swing dance lesson followed by live music and social dancing, as outlined in the event description.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the beginner-friendly lesson beginning shortly thereafter. Live music will take place from 8:00–10:00 PM.
Proof of purchase, such as a confirmation email or valid ticket, may be required for entry. Admission is granted only to the ticket holder or an approved transfer recipient.
Please arrive on time, as late entry to the lesson may be disruptive.
Attendees under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who is 21 years of age or older. The accompanying adult assumes full responsibility for the minor’s supervision, safety, and conduct for the duration of the event.
Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior, including harassment, intoxication, or actions that compromise the safety or enjoyment of others, will not be tolerated. Determinations of such behavior are at the sole discretion of the event organizer and may result in removal without refund.
4. Venue Details
The event will be held at St. Rita’s Music Room, located in the former Beacon High School in Beacon, NY.
Water and concessions will be available for purchase on site through St. Rita’s.
If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you.
5. Dress Code
There is no strict dress code. Feel free to dress sharp, come as you are, or channel your inner vintage flair.
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement and dancing. Smooth-soled shoes are recommended to help protect the dance floor.
6. Health & Safety
Please stay home if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness.
Be mindful of your physical limits while dancing and take breaks as needed.
Alcohol may be available for purchase at the venue for guests who are 21 years of age or older. Valid ID may be required. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 21. Please drink responsibly.
Anyone who appears intoxicated or behaves in a way that compromises the safety or comfort of others may be asked to leave at the discretion of the event organizer.
7. Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded unless you notify the organizer in advance.

9. Liability Waiver
By attending this event, you acknowledge that participation in dance activities involves inherent physical risk. You voluntarily assume all risks related to participation, including but not limited to injury, illness, or loss of personal property.
You agree not to hold Swingout Rhythm Dance Club, the venue, performers, staff, volunteers, or affiliates liable for any claims, damages, or expenses arising from or related to your participation in this event.
